Our Process

Our Process

Once we've completed a needs-based analysis, we've got a process to help.
Franchise Development

01

Initial Meeting to Discuss Fit

We love helping our partners grow! However, in order to do that, we need to make certain that we align. First and often most importantly, we must be a great culture fit. We should be inspired by your brand, as should our clients. With over 4,000 franchise concepts currently available, what makes yours unique? Additionally, how realistic are your expansion plans?

In this step, we get to know you and you get to know us. If we agree that it's a great fit, we'll move to the next step.

02

Needs Assessment
FDD/Ops/Sales Process Review

Our solutions are not one size fits all. We must understand where you feel your strengths lie and where you need the most help. Are the right people in the right seats doing the right things? Does your team have a clear path to success and personal growth?

Often our consulting group will engage with your team to work on these processes.

We will also evaluate your existing tools to determine potential challenges. This includes your FDD, Ops Manual, Training Manuals, and Sales Process

03

Site Visit

Meeting with your executive team face-to-face and observing your team allows us to better understand the inner workings of your brand, the interaction between team members, and your corporate culture.

04

Franchisee/Location Validation

This step allows us to better understand your relationship with your franchisees and/or your corporate locations.

Support is crucial to any successful franchise model. Your people must be certain that you have their backs.

Validating their experience allows us to not only determine your present support level, but areas you could improve on.

05

Proposal/Agreement

Assuming we've liked everything we've learned to this point, the next step is to provide your team with a proposal and define next steps.

Our solution will be tailored to your organization and your identified needs.

06

Process Improvement/
Onboarding

Once engaged, we will take your team through an on boarding process and begin to implement changes based on our findings.
Consulting

01

Leadership Team Introduction

Culture is crucial as we select what partners we want to work with. The first thing we want to do is meet and talk with your leadership team and get to know each of you. If you have a unique brand and an outstanding culture, we'd like to learn more.

02

Financial Evaluation

We are only successful when franchisees are successful, and so we must have a clear understanding of your financial model and see a clear path to success. We will evaluate corporate and store P&L statements to determine viability and identify areas that we can help.

03

System Evaluation

Next, we will dive deep into your systems & processes to better understand where we'd be starting from. We'll look at your FDD, ops & training manuals, and validate your support with your existing franchisees.

04

Needs Based Analysis & Proposal

Based on your expressed needs and needs we've uncovered during our evaluation, we will provide you with a proposal of how we believe we can help. From here, we can decide whether it makes sense to work together.
Franchise Opportunities

01

Introductory Call

Let's get to know each other. Only through trust and honesty will the process for, and it must begin on the first call. Your Development Professional will share information on themselves and the company, and you should be prepared to share details as well.

We need to know what drives you, what your passions are, the kinds of things you like or don't like. Each of these will help us determine what franchise opportunities might be a great fit for you.

Our goal is to help you find the perfect fit - the opportunity that will help you exceed your personal and professional goals.

02

Brand Presentations

The brand(s) that you select will have a webinar or video to share with you, allowing you to understand the history and overview of the franchise opportunity. Ideally, you will be able to determine your interest level and identify your top choices to evaluate further.

03

FDD Review

The Franchise Disclosure Document is a federally regulated document in many countries, and is required to give you all the appropriate information to make an initial conceptual & financial evaluation. Details regarding initial investment, ongoing fees, and a copy of the Franchise Agreement are included in the FDD.

This is not something to take lightly. Thoroughly review all the details provided and prepare questions for discussion. If you plan to engage a franchise attorney, this would be a great time to do so. While franchise attorneys understand that the FDD and FA cannot be fundamentally changed, they can help you understand the commitments you would be making if you decided to move forward.

04

Validation

The FDD includes a list of all current franchisees and franchisees that have recently left the franchise system. As someone evaluating the opportunity, you are free to contact as many of these as is necessary for you to get a clear understanding of a "day in the life" from a franchise owner.

05

Discovery/Meet the Team

When you attend a Discovery event, you should have a clear understanding of the following:
     - General cost and fee structure
     - How you will fund your investment
     - Legal requirements & commitment

This event is about culture fit and meeting those that will be instrumental in your support and the success of your franchise. Are they the right team? Do you fit?

Remember, this is a mutual evaluation process. As you are trying to determine if they are the perfect fit for you, they are trying to determine if you are the perfect fit for them. Instrumental to the success of a franchisee is someone willing to follow the established & proven process - and someone that will represent the brand with passion and enthusiasm.

06

Franchise Award

None of the concepts that work with MMC are in the business of selling franchises. They award franchises to those candidates that have proven themselves capable and passionate. You will be notified shortly after the conclusion of your Discovery event whether you've been awarded a franchise, and be given the opportunity to execute your Franchise Agreement.

Congratulations! You're on your way to great success!
